Israel’s Noa Kirel Named a ‘Talented Emerging Artist’ of 2022 by People Magazine

Noa Kirel is only 20 years old, but she has already served in the Israeli Army, established a successful music career, hosted the Miss Universe pageant when it was held in Israel last year and become the face of a number of advertising campaigns in Israel. And now Kirel has been named one of the “Talented Emerging Artists” for 2022 by People Magazine.

But Noa Kirel did not just make the list, she placed number two on it.

“Noa Kirel is for the girls,” says People.” “This 20-year-old pop queen tells PEOPLE she’s ‘all about embracing yourself, being an independent woman, owning what you got and working hard to achieve your dreams.’”

A grateful Noa Kirel tweeted, “Thank you so much @people for choosing me as one of 2022 most promising acts ! 🥺😍 I’m so excited for what’s to come…” She also told People Magazine that her success is “all about embracing yourself, being an independent woman, owning what you got and working hard to achieve your dreams.” Kirel added that she is inspired by successful women singers like, Jennifer Lopez, and Rosalía saying, “They dance, they sing, they write, they do it all.” But she is not just a fan of women artists. Kirel also loves Justin Bieber, saying she will be “forever a Belieber.”

About her job hosting the Miss Universe pageant, Noa Kirel said, “I’m so excited and honored to be performing at Miss Universe. By believing in themselves and fearlessly chasing their dreams, these women from around the world live and breathe the values of the Miss Universe Organization, and I can’t wait to share this celebratory moment with all of them on this incredible global stage.”
