Top 10 Anti-Semitic Israel Attacks of 2021 Part Two

Ben & Jerry's

Stan with Us ad against Ben & Jerry’s

Five was obviously not enough. So here are five more of the most outrageous attacks on Israel made in 2021. These are presented in no particular order.

Ben & Jerry’s Boycott’s Israel
In July, ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s announced a new policy regarding the sale of their products in Israel. The company said that it will no longer allow their products to be sold in what Ben & Jerry’s describes as “occupied Palestinian territory.” So if you are always trying to diet and find yourself simply unable to resist all of those delicious Ben & Jerry’s ice creams, now you have a good reason to stop eating them.

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is made in Israel through a licensing agreement with a local company. Because it is made locally, there are shops that offer two tubs of the ice cream for as little as $10. Now that may seem like a lot to Americans, but for locals it is a bargain for any brand of ice cream. And if you have ever been to Israel than you know that the Israeli ice cream brands never taste as good as the American ones. This is because they make it with milk instead of cream.

So why did they do this and why now? Well Ben & Jerry’s issued a statement saying, “We believe it is inconsistent with our values for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to be sold in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT). We also hear and recognize the concerns shared with us by our fans and trusted partners.”

“The company promised to offer its ice cream under a new arrangement in the future. But what exactly does Ben & Jerry’s consider to be the occupied areas anyway? How will they determine exactly where in Jerusalem their products may or may not be sold? Will Ben & Jerry’s tell a major Israeli supermarket chain like Rami Levi that it can only sell their products in the places that the company says are not occupied? And if so, do the people at Ben & Jerry’s even know that there are Rami Levi supermarkets in areas of the West Bank where local Arabs who cannot enter Israel shop regularly for things that they cannot get in their towns, including their own ice cream.

John Oliver Showed His True Colors – He’s an Israel Hater
During Operation Guardians of the Wall in May, John Oliver joined the chorus of phony celebrities who condemned Israel and accused it of War Crime in Gaza. And as with the others, John Oliver is just another comedian who thinks he is an expert on politics and so started his own political talk show. But like many of the others, he is incapable of just acknowledging when there is an issue which he knows little about.

In a factually flawed – to say the least – and very hostile rant, which lasted for more than ten minutes, to open his Sunday night program “Last Week Tonight,” Oliver took it upon himself to blame Israel for all of the violence which took place during the fighting. The man who has no journalistic credentials, no background in history, politics or foreign policy, and who cherry picks the news reports which he in turn uses to defend his weekly rants on the issues, has spoken: It is of course all Israel’s fault no matter what the facts may actually be.

Facebook Attacked By Israel Haters
Some people are trying to hurt Facebook because of Israel. Apparently there are some who think that Facebook unfairly removed anti-Israel posts and pages during the fighting in Gaza. So to get back at the company these people have been going around giving Facebook’s apps one star ratings in different app stores. It is doubtful, however, that any of these individuals have actually removed their own personal Facebook pages or have stopped using Instagram and WhatsApp.

And is it even conceivable that Facebook itself could be canceled?

But credit should always be given where credit is due: It takes a great deal of courage and strength in one’s convictions to go after such a large and powerful corporation like Facebook. The organizers of this campaign have really taken great risks while exerting a great deal of personal effort. They face the threat of possibly being banned by Facebook. And think of all the time and energy which went into posting comments on social media platforms.

Celebs Slammed Gal Gadot for Supporting Her Own Country
Most celebrities blamed Israel for the latest round of fighting with the Hamas terrorist organization. Nothing will ever stop self-absorbed narcissistic Hollywood actors and people who are famous for nothing from actually believing that they know anything about anything. But they always stand against Israel whenever something happens. Could there be a reason for this

Just about the only famous celebrity to say anything in support of Israel was Gal Gadot. But she is an Israeli herself. And Gadot, of course, was slammed by countless people for daring to defend her own country on social media. Her attackers included many celebrities.

The day after the fighting began, Oscar winning actress Viola Davis made a hostile anti-Israel post on Instagram titled “What To Know About Sheikh Jarrah.” The post used deliberately volatile terms like “ethnic cleansing” to describe what had happened in the Arab Jerusalem neighborhood.

Game of Thrones star Lena Headey made multiple anti-Israel posts on social media. Susan Sarandon continued with here attacks on Israel while asserting that such criticisms of the country do not make her an anti-Semite.

The Hulk is of course an expert on world affairs and terrorism. So Mark Ruffalo tweeted, “1500 Palestinians face expulsion in #Jerusalem. 200 protesters have been injured. 9 children have been killed. Sanctions on South Africa helped free its black people – it’s time for sanctions on Israel to free Palestinians. Join the call.”

Donald Trump Said “F” Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu was described by many as a sycophant for how he acted around Donald Trump. Also for the way that the former Israeli prime minister spoke about the former president. But Donald Trump has a short memory and now he hates Netanyahu, even saying “F” him.

So, what happened? Well, apparently Trump thinks that just by congratulating President Biden on his victory last year Benjamin Netanyahu committed an act of personal betrayal. Netanyahu, apparently, did not know that he was expected to go along with Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 elections.

Israeli journalist Barak Ravid has a new book coming out and he released audio tapes of some of his conversations with Trump.

Trump thinks that Netanyahu did not wait long enough before congratulating Biden. “It was early. OK? Let’s put it this way — he greeted him very early. Earlier than most world leaders. I’ve not spoken to him since. F**k him.” But how long should Netanyau have waited? Until after January 6? After the inauguration of Biden as president? Or, maybe never.
