UMPG Israel is focused on technology opportunities, local singing, songwriters’ talents, developing Israeli music creators, and commercial partnerships.
UMG, the parent company of UMPG, created a new recorded music division in Israel in June 2020 and becomes the only major music publishing firm to establish a presence in Israel.

Along with his work in various music jobs in New York, Tel Aviv, and London, Shafrir spent 12 years in cinema and television leadership positions at UMG subsidiary Havas London.
