Is Marjorie Taylor Greene Really This Nuts? Even Christian Groups Now Condemn Her

It seems like every day more and more insane statements by the Congresswoman get uncovered..

Marjorie Taylor Greene (CNN)

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the freshman Republican Congresswoman from Georgia, was already a known QAnon supporter as well as a radical MAGA person before winning election. It was known when she ran for office that Greene believes that Donald Trump is a messianic figure and that there is a secret cabal of sex-trafficker pedophiles who drink children’s blood. But now the floodgates have opened up with more insanities being revealed including outright antisemitism on her part. This has led even Christian groups to condemn her.

On Friday JBN reported on how Marjorie Taylor Greened accused the Rothschild Family of causing a 2018 California forest fire using lasers based in space. She said she knew this because a board member at Pacific Gas and Electric named Roger Kimmel also happened to be the vice-chairman of Rothschild Inc. She also believes that the California power company had invested in technology to beam solar energy down from space.

But her out of bounds comments have included calling on people to resort to violence should Donald Trump lose reelection. Mother Jones revealed a video in which she said, “If this generation doesn’t stand up and defend freedom, it’s gone. And once it’s gone, freedom doesn’t come back by itself. The only way you get your freedoms back is it’s earned with the price of blood.”

The Congresswoman released a video in 2018 in which she not only espoused 9/11 conspiracy theories, but also stated that the Clinton’s had murdered John Kennedy Jr. Kennedy died in a plane crash in 1999.

And she once wrote for a blog which notoriously promoted various conspiracy theories. One of her articles, the NY Times reports, was titled, “MUST READ — Democratic Party Involved With Child Sex, Satanism, and The Occult.”

Now of course Jewish groups have condemned her, even Republican ones, but so have some Christian and non-religion oriented conservative groups too.

The Republican Jewish Coalition opposed Greene in the primaries for the Republican nomination for the seat which Taylor Greene currently holds. In a statement it stressed that the organization dos not ordinarily get involved in primary races, but felt that is had to in this case due to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s history of anti-Semitism.

“The RJC issued a statement on Friday saying, “We are offended and appalled by her comments and her actions. We opposed her as a candidate and we continue to oppose her now. She is far outside the mainstream of the Republican Party, and the RJC is working closely with the House Republican leadership regarding next steps in this matter.”

The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations which includes both religious and secular, as well as conservative and liberal Jewish groups alike, also spoke out against Taylor Greene. The organization said that it was outraged and stated that, “It is unacceptable for Members of Congress to spread baseless hate against the Jewish people.”

Accusing Congresswoman Taylor Greene of espousing anti-Semitic canards, it said, “There must be a swift and commensurate response from Congressional leadership making clear that this conduct cannot and will not be allowed to debase our politics.”

And now the Christian conservatives in America have also condemned her.

Christians United for Israel (CUFI), which boasts more than 10 million members, says that it is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and the foremost Christian organization educating and empowering millions of Americans to “speak and act with one voice in defense of Israel and the Jewish people.” Considering the political pull that Christian conservatives have in America, especially within the Republican Party. It would seem that a censure from this organization would spell trouble for any American politician.

Well now CUFI has repudiated Marjorie Taylor Greene. It tweeted a statement which called for Republican leaders to, “immediately remove Greene from her committee assignments pending a full review of her past statements.”

The organization also called on the leaders of both parties to denounce any anti-Semitism on the part of their respective members saying that they should “condemn all those who traffic in anti-Semitic tropes.”

In response to all of the calls for her censure, Marjorie Taylor Greene released a combative statement on Twitter warning her fellow Republicans not to denounce her. “If Republicans cower to the mob, and let the Democrats and the fake news media take me out, they’re opening the door to come after every single Republican until there’s none left.”

Speaking to her base of support she added, “I will never back down. I will never give up. Because I am one of you. And I will always represent you.”

The issue, however, is exactly the people who she refers to here. The “you” who she represents and is a member of is the problem.
