As we stated during our recent Investor Day, the expected growth of our crop nutrition business, both organically and through M&A, will be supported, in part, by increased demand for high-end specialty fertilizers and our focus on growth markets.”

“Fertiláqua gives ICL a significant foothold in a major market, where demand growth for specialty plant nutrition products is increasing rapidly. In addition, it unlocks immediate synergies for distribution in Brazil and further expands ICL’s product portfolio with higher growth, higher margin products, as well as provides balance for seasonality in our specialty fertilizer sales between the Northern and Southern hemispheres.”
Fertiláqua is one of the largest producers of nutrition, plant physiology and soil revitalization products in Brazil. It was founded in 2015, with the merger of the three brands Aminoagro, Dimicron and Maximus .
Fertiláqua has two Seed Analysis Laboratories (LAS), in Cruz Alta / RS and in Cuiabá / MT. The laboratories carry out various analyzes such as: purity analysis, germination, tetrazolium and accelerated aging.
Through the Building Plants Program (PCP 360), the company works at all stages of the crop, even before planting, with the process of revitalizing the soil, going through seeds, vegetative, reproductive development, until the harvest, developing crops with maximum productive potential.
The Sementes de Verdade (Seeds of Truth) program is responsible for granting the seal to seed lots, from partner sowing companies, which presents high performance with at least 95% germination, of which 70% of the lot are in the highest and highest vigor classes and 90% of vigor by the accelerated aging test (EA), ensuring benefits such as better germination and the emergence of seedlings quickly and uniformly, giving rise to plants with above average performance, superior growth rate, structures such as roots and larger leaf area, and consequently greater accumulation of dry matter.
