Andy Lassner, a producer on the Ellen Talk show is speaking out about the recent controversy. Many staffers and others who have worked on Ellen Degeneres’ hugely popular daytime talk show have spoken out lately complaining that Degeneres is nothing like her public persona and that it is a nightmare to work for her.
The 53-year-old producer released a short video on Instagram after taking a three-month break from social media. In the post the Emmy winner said:
“I’ve been away for a little bit, dealing with — you know, some stuff. You may have read about it,’ Andy went on, only hinting at the shakeup behind the scenes on the syndicated show. It’s been a couple of rough months,’ he continued. ‘But it’s when we go through these things, I guess when we learn the most about ourselves, and maybe even some growth.”
