Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known as Snoop Dogg is a cannabis advocate.  One of his biggest hits includes “Smoke Weed Everyday.” He frequently uses his 36 million followers on social media accounts to share cannabis memes and references.

In a statement on Tuesday, Seedo said that Snoop Dogg will be working with the company to “achieve optimal consumer awareness of this innovative technology.”

In addition, he will donate Seedo automatic devices to grow cannabis in his hometown of Long Beach, California, allowing communities and neighborhood organizations to grow pesticide-free produce.

According to Snoop Dogg: “We will encourage a healthier lifestyle by providing growing technologies to communities. The technology allows growing produce in urban areas, saves costs and share produce with the community.”

Seedo’s growth process is controlled through a mobile phone app and is managed by AI artificial intelligence technologies that decode the state and needs of the plant by taking pictures of the plant from a camera located inside the device.

The algorithm determines the exact dosage of fertilizer, irrigation, and temperature. Another machine learning technology allows the machine to improve its tumor performance by drawing insights from previous growth cycles. The user can view the growing process via the camera inside the machine.
