Kim Kardashian has signed an agreement to be the face of the Israeli sunglasses label Carolina Lemke, alongside model Bar Refaeli, who partly owned the chain. The agreement is part of Carolina Lemka’s attempts to expand in the US market.
The US reality TV star visited Israel in 2015 with her husband Kanye West and baptized her daughter North in the Armenian Church in Jerusalem. According to the new agreement, she will visit Israel again in March 2019 to lead a promotional tour in the country.

The parent company of the brand, Castro-Hoodies, will pay Kardashian up to $30 million in the first year. Under the terms of the agreement, Kim Kardashian, 37, will advertise the sunglasses together with Bar Refaeli. In addition, Kardashian will be responsible for a limited edition collection of products.
Carolina Lemke which is Castro-Hoodies strongest fashion brands was founded seven years ago. The brand revenue in 2017 was NIS 167 million ($46.6 million), up 20% from the previous year and operating profit of close to NIS 20 million ($5.58 million). The company has 70 sale points throughout Israel, Australia, Thailand, Barcelona and London.
The company will soon set up an online site for the American market, and later invest an additional $30 million to open physical stores in the U.S.
