Steven Spielberg Is The First Director To Gross Over $10 Billion At The Box Office

Steven Spielberg is the first director whose films have worldwide taken in over $10 billion, according to Box Office Mojo.

Spielberg’s “Ready Player One” has taken $114 million thus far, making it only his seventeenth most successful film to date. The two-time Oscar-winner for best director biggest movies gross being E.T. and “Jaws” taking in $1.3 billion and $1.2 billion respectively. Jurassic Park, has made nearly a billion worldwide.
