Quentin Tarantino engaged to Israeli girlfriend singer Daniela Pick

Film director Quentin Tarantino and Israeli singer Daniela Pick were engaged on Friday night in Los Angeles. Date of the wedding is unknown. Pick, which is younger from Tarantino in 20 years, confirmed the news “It’s true, we’re very happy and excited.”

Quentin Tarantino, 54, and Pick, 33, first met during Tarantino’s visit to Israel eight years ago, when the American director came to promote his film “Inglourious Basterds.”

Their relationship had ups and downs and included a well-publicized farewell.

The connection between them renewed a year ago, and they came together to the Jerusalem Film Festival, when Tarantino promoted the publication of the reprint of “Pulp Fiction.”

For Pick and Tarantino, this will be the first marriage. In the past, Quentin Tarantino has managed well-known relationships with well-known Hollywood personalities such as actress Mira Sorvino, director Sofia Coppola and comedian Cathy Griffin.

Daniela Pick is the daughter of a rock singer and musician Tzvika Pick. She was a member of the Pick Sisters in the early 2000s.

The New York Post reported that Tarantino prefers to wait a few more years with children. “Thirteen years ago I had a ‘baby fever’ and really thought about having a child,” Tarantino said two years ago in an interview with the International Weekly. “It’s usually about being surrounded by people who have children and you’re filled with the joy that it brings to their lives. That’s how I thought about it a lot, but it passed me, it does not mean I do not want kids, but right now I prefer to complete my ten films without unnecessary distractions. ”

Quentin Tarantino has noted that after finishing his tenth film, he will retire from making films. So far the director has directed eight films, the last of which was “The Eight Hate”, which dealt with a chapter of American history, steeped in racism and violent violence. Despite the declarations of retirement, many in the film industry doubt that Quentin Tarantino will retire, and the director himself has mentioned in the past that he may return to making films in his old age, but these will not include the capsule of the ten films he made from the beginning.
