WOW Air, the Icelandic low-cost carrier today announced seven round trip Flight Tel Aviv – New York (Newark), Boston, and Montreal-Canada via Iceland beginning September 1st. Flight time from Iceland to New York is 7.5 hours.
Round trip flight fare starting price at $298. The flights will leave Tel Aviv at 8:25 AM. The connection flights to New York will depart at 3:00 PM after a 1.5 hours layover in Iceland.

WOW will also offer $99 one-way flight from Tel Aviv to Iceland’s Keflavík International Airport. Flight time is 5 hours. All fares are starting prices, and the final fare will vary according to the date of the trip. It also does not include luggage, which will cost an extra $40-50 for a suitcase.
The airline will offer attractive prices for flights from Israel to U.S, Canada and selected destinations in the world.
WOW founder and CEO Skuli Mogensen announced the news on Monday at a press conference in Israel. Mogensen founded the company only five years ago. He had its inaugural flight in 2012 and had twice been named Man of the Year in Iceland.
Israeli Minister of Transport Yisrael Katz wished Mogensen success in competing in the Israeli market, Globes reports.
Mogensen said: ‘When we founded the company, I never imagined that we’d come to Israel. I’ve dreamed of visiting here since I was a child. Our mission is to enable everyone to fly by offering the lowest prices in Tel Aviv. No one has ever offered such low prices to North America.”
