Saudi Arabia creates Whatsapp group for matchmaking men with multiple wives

900 women have signed up on the group; They said that they did not mind being the second, third or fourth wife of a man.

Eight marriage officials in Saudi Arabia have formed a group on WhatsApp named ‘polygamy’ in an attempt to solve the problem of too many unmarried women in the country.

The matchmaking services is free of cost and 900 women have already signed up to joined the group on WhatsApp. The women divorcee,  widows and spinsters are coming from Morocco, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Bangladesh and Pakistan. In Saudi Arabia,  Mecca was the one of the cities that witnessed rising number of divorces.

Daily Mail report, that the creators of the group said that they have been urging men to take more than one wife while the women said that they did not mind being the second, third or fourth wife of a man.

These women provided details about their physique, age (18- 55 years-old), height, weight and even caste and tribe that they belonged to.

These women would be introduce to a men as soon as the group founders came across a suitable match.
