An Israeli citizen living in California, Dov Katz, who is the senior manager at Oculus was arrested by Tukwila Police on Wednesday and charged on Friday for attempting to solicit sex with a 15-year-old girl. Bail was set at $125, 000
The girl was actually an undercover detective with the Tukwila Police Department, a city south of Seattle. Dov Katz is currently the head of computer vision at Oculus VR, virtual reality company, which was acquired by Facebook for about $2 billion in cash and stock in 2014.

According to KING 5, the 38-year-old tech exec responded to an ad posted by the undercover detective who had posted on a website offering sex in exchange for money. Dov Katz suggested the two have sex without a condom for $360. When he arrived at the hotel with $600 in cash, Katz was arrested by police.
According to police documents, Katz told the police that he was there to rescue the girl and should have first called them. Katz is forbidden to have contact with any minors, except in the presence of a responsible adult.
Dov Katz’s arraignment is set for January 5th, 2017.
