Where is Ronan Farrow? The once up and coming star of his own cable news show has seemingly disappeared.
The son of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen — although he claims that Frank Sinatra was his real father and is so estranged from Allen that he uses his mother’s sir name — was a wunderkind getting appointed to serious positions in the Obama Administration when only in his early twenties. The now 28 year old even got his own show on MSNBC less than two years ago called “Ronan Farrow Daily.” But that show bombed and was cancelled after only one year.

So MSNBC said that Farrow would continue to be an important reporter and contributor. But he hasn’t? Farrow, like Chelsea Clinton, was given a starring role on television news without paying his dues and ahead of a long list of real journalists who were waiting their turn just because he was already famous and looked good on TV.
So where is Ronan Farrow now? Well Psge Six has found him. Ronan can still be seen live on air on MSNBC broadcasts, but only as one of many sitting in the newsroom at a desk behind the anchor. News channels have their anchors appear in front of the newsroom to put on a show for viewers, reminding them that there are a lot of people working on the news at all times. Page Six quoted a source saying, “Poor guy. He does nothing. He’s very nice, but other than a few pieces that [NBC News] pushes — including one on nukes last month — he just sits at a desk. They try to justify his salary.”
Poor Ronan Farrow indeed. Maybe he should have stayed in the family business. After all, Hollywood is far less phony than the world of 24 hour television news channels.
