Madonna and Sean Penn appeared together for a charity event over the weekend and now rumors are flying about a possible reunion of the couple who were briefly married to one another back in the 1980s. Meanwhile, Sean Penn’s stalker has been arrested.

On Friday night the “Material Girl” raised $7.5 million at a charity event for the African nation of Malawi. Madonna, who also calls herself by the Hebrew name Hadasah, while not a convert to Judaism practices the Jewish mystical cult of Kabbalah. She was joined at the event by her ex-husband Sean Penn who’s father was Jewish. At the event she auctioned off a large number of items including three pictures from her wedding to Sean Penn which went for $230, 000.
Penn attended the event and even handcuffed Madonna at one point as part of the show after which she said, “For once, he’s not the one being arrested.” This was a jab at how Sean Penn’s famous temper has gotten him in trouble over the years. Many celebrities were in attendance at the event including Leonardo DiCaprio, Alex Rodriguez, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, James Corden, and long time Madonna BFF Courtney Love.
At one point Madonna even offered to marry Sean Penn again in exchange for a $150, 000 donation telling him, “I’m still in love with you.” But before all of the people with no lives out there get too excited by this, the two are not really expected to get remarried and so far no one has been reported as taking up Madonna on her offer.

And Madonna has been getting some mixed reviews for her performance of Brittney Spears’ hit song Toxic. Love it or hate it, this version is definitely unforgettable.
As for Sean Penn, he can breathe a bit easier as the police have apprehended his stalker. The New York Daily News reported that the woman, who believes that she is Penn’s lover, was arrested after going to his house a number of times.
