Indian diamond billionair, Savjibhai Dholakia, given away 1, 260 cars, 400 flats and jewelleries to his employees ahead of the Diwali, Hindu festival of lights, as a reward for meeting company targets.

The owner of Hare Krishna Exports, told AFP “Our aim is that each employee must have his own home and car in the next five years. So we have decided to gift cars, homes and jewellery to employees, ”

The company would spend about $7 million and reward an unknown number of staff from a total 5, 500 employees .

According to The Gourdian Dholakia has been making headlines by giving expensive gifts to his employees since 2012, when three employees received cars for their performance.
