Black belt in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, Israel’s Noad Lahat nicknamed Neo, has signed with the promotion in Jun 2016. He will make his debut against Scott Cleve in a featherweight (145 pounds) match. Additional main card and preliminary fights will be announced in coming weeks.

The Viacom-owned the world’s second-largest MMA promotion fight will air in America on SPIKE. Bellator has partnered an Israeli media copmany Ananey Communications. The company which showcase Viacom content including the EGO and EGO TOTAL, have broadcast Bellator in Israel since 2012.
The featherweight Lahat, 32, made his professional debut in 2008, where he began an impressive streak of seven consecutive victories. He trains at the American Kickboxing Academy MMA Gym (AKA) in San Jose. Previously he fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). California-based fighter holds a professional MMA record of nine wins and two losses.
The Israeli army veteran served as a combatant in the Paratrooper Brigade (Tsanchanim). Lahat joined the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) forces in the war against Hammas, the terror group in Gaza, during Operation Protective Edge in summer 2014.
Bellator MMA Featherweight class includes current titleholder Daniel Straus, Pat Curran, Patricio “Pitbull, ” Daniel Weichel, and Georgi Karakhanyan.
