The Amatrice town in Italy, ‘not here any more’ after strong earthquake, says mayor

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck north-east of Rome, leaving at least 38 people dead,  others fleeing into the streets and blackouts near the epicentre.The town was among the locations to sustains serious damage.

Mayor in town of Amatrice saying people buried under rubbleand others trapped under rubble. “residents were buried under debris and the town isn’t here any more”, the Guardiam reports.
