Key Prince career executives retained for estate management

Minnesota Court approved today two key figures in Princ career as special administrators of the entertainment assets of the superstar’s estate.

The two are: Londell McMillan chairman and CEO of The NorthStar Enterprises Worldwide and Charles Koppelman, Chairman and CEO of CAK Entertainmentmusician. The company work for artists including Marc Anthony,  Jennifer Lopez ,  Adam Levine,  Nicki Minaj and more.

The trust company, Bremer Trust National Association, confirmed the news which was first reported by the music magazine The Source, which is owned by McMillan.

According to The Source Mr. McMillan was Prince’s personal friend, acting as attorney and manager for over a decade. He was the one to free him from his recording contract with Warner Bros.

 

“Mr. McMillan worked with Prince to mastermind numerous innovative and historic artist deals, ” the Magazine reports, “including selling Prince’s album on tour and having Nielsen SoundScan register such sales to reach number one on the charts.”

Koppelman, chairman and CEO of CAK Entertainment Inc., signed Prince to EMI for his “Emancipation” triple album.

Prince passed away on April 21, 2016. No will has surfaced.
