BuzzFeed News reports that TJ Khayatan and his friends decided to put a pair of glasses on the floor to see how visitors will respond.

They got the idea after they were critical of one exhibit, which he described as a “stuffed animal on a gray blanket”.

TJ claims visitors immediately fooled by his fake exhibit, and started gathering around it to take photos. The pictures of people admiring the glasses struck a chord with the public, and were shared tens of thousands of times in a few hours – and were eventually listed as a “Twitter Moment”.
