“Say what you want about Lyor Cohen but the man knows music. The record executive’s ear for innovation has landed him the respect of many.” says Paul Meara on BET.

A Wedensday clip of the show features Cohen and Young Thug where Thug tells him that he wants to drop 10 hits this year. Cohen advises him on how to do it. “If you don’t freestyle and you actually work on the singles, and record great choruses and develop your songs, yes [you’ll have more hits], ” he tells Thug, whose SS3 debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top. “You just record so many songs and leave them like little orphans out there.”
