After Donald Trump’s rally in Chicago, Illinois, was cancelled, one organisation took responsibility: MoveOn.org, a community of more than 8 million liberal Americans, sent an email out to all their members explaining what they plan to do, and promised to continue taking on Donald Trump in what they say is a non-violent way. The events that took place in Chicago are just the beginning. According to Washington Times, The organization has promised more protests are to come.
“Last night, without consulting local police, Donald Trump abruptly cancelled a rally in Chicago in the face of massive and overwhelmingly peaceful student-led protests. We’re being flooded with aggressive emails and social media posts from Trump supporters. Some of them are threatening. We refuse to be intimidated by Donald Trump, Fox News, or anyone else.”

“We’ve been ramping up our efforts for months — from the ‘We Are Better Than This’ ad we helped organize in The New York Times in December, to our collective advocacy for refugees under attack from the GOP, to the support we provided students in Chicago last night by printing signs and a banner and recruiting MoveOn.org members to join their peaceful protest. We need to double-down in the face of direct attacks on our community.”
“So here’s the plan: We’ll support MoveOn.org members to call out and nonviolently protest Trump’s racist, bigoted, misogynistic, xenophobic, and violent behavior — and show the world that America rejects Trump’s hate, ” the email read. “And to keep it going, we’re counting on you to donate whatever you can to cover the costs of everything involved — the organizers, signs, online recruitment ads, training, and more.”
According to media report, Donald Trump planned in all things, to hold a rally in the heart of Chicago, Illinois, a very liberal city, often supporting the Democratic Party. The GOP presidential hopeful tried to hold the rally, only to be bombarded with thousands of anti-Trump protesters.
The protests grew increasingly violent, which forces Trump to cancel the rally which anti-Trump protesters called it a “win”.
At the beginning reports credited college student age members of the Black Lives Matter movement, Gay Pride community, and Muslims. More recent reports have found the anti-Trump protest to be far more organized.
InfoWars reports that former Illinois contender for Congress and executive director of MoveOn.org, Ilya Sheyman, is taking credit for the events:
“Mr. Trump and the Republican leaders who support him and his hate-filled rhetoric should be on notice after tonight’s events. To all of those who took to the streets of Chicago, we say thank you for standing up and saying enough is enough. To Donald Trump, and the GOP, we say, welcome to the general election.”
MoveOn.org is often reported to be a front for wealthy progressive liberals such as George Soros, the billionaire financier who is often known as “The Man who Broke the Bank of England.” Soros donated $1.46 million to help initiate MoveOn.org. Linda Pritzker, a member of the Hyatt hotel family, donated $4 million to the group too.
Now, according to American Thinker a group called Working America, funded by the AFL-CIO (which relies on taking off a portion of the paychecks of people forced to join unions) and by billionaires George Soros and Tom Steyer, is advertising for organizers in Cleveland.
Their logo is redolent of communist revolutionary art:
