Billionaire Jeff Skoll Selling $20 Million Mansion in Los Altos Hills

Jeff Skoll

Former eBay exec Jeff Skoll has put his stunning $20 million Los Altos Hills home on the market. The 14, 855-square-foot mansion is exactly what we’d expect to see from a billionaire in the San Francisco Bay Area.

According to the listing, the “one of a kind” custom estate, built in 1990, includes eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, an eight-car garage, seven fireplaces, and over 100 mature trees on 3-plus acres.

Features of the home include intricately designed ceilings, an eye-popping rotunda, a formal dining room, a living room, a family room, a wine cellar, a game room with bar, and an eat-in kitchen with pizza oven.

Fitness buffs will appreciate the indoor pool, tennis courts, and an indoor basketball court/climbing wall.

Those who prefer a more sedentary existence can sit back and take in the landscaped lawns and rose gardens.

While the residence is minutes from Palo Alto and Mountain View, perhaps Skoll is no longer in need of the proximity to Silicon Valley. The 51-year-old Canadian also founded Participant Media,  producer of “The Help, ” “Lincoln, ” and “Spotlight, ” and seems to be focusing his attention on the Los Angeles area. Variety noted the billionaire bought two homes in Beverly Hills in 2014.
