Robert Downey Jr. put his celebrity status to good use on Friday, October 23. Downey Jr. has lived the life of Stark beyond the big screens as he immersed the young boy in the superhero world that he grows up loving. Daniel’s mother Vicky Keyte wrote about her son’s courage on Instagram last week, saying Robert was one of his idols.
The message also said that Daniel is now in a hospital and that his present condition is beginning to take its toll on his body. This is for Daniel (@envy_coatings) who was having a rough day recently.
After seeing Robert’s post, Daniel’s mom, Vicky Keyte, responded to his generosity via Instagram.

The Avengers may have become the most popular superheroes of all time, but Iron Man – the movie and the character that started it all – remains at the clear center of all this popularity.
As luck would have it, Downey saw Daniel’s mother’s plea, and upped the ante, not only offering a few emotional uplift but extending a personal invitation for Daniel to join him at the May 6 premiere of the (virtually guaranteed to be a mega-hit) Captain America: Civil War. Downey Jr. continued. “If so, have your people call my people”.
What a guy. And yes, we get that it’s Captain America, not Iron Man.
Over the past week, Daniel’s mum had used Instagram to contact the Iron Man star to get a “little lift” for her seven-year-old boy after cruel comments from another child at school. Completely adorable. He’s basically reacting like how any of us would react if we found out RDJ invited us to the premiere of Captain America: Civil War.
“Thank you everyone this is by far the best wake up call ever when I found Roberts reply (I was a blubbering wreck)”.
