Israeli cafe gives 50 per cent off to Jews and Arabs who eat together

A hummus restaurant on the highway between Tel Aviv and Haifa in Israel, showed same respect to human being and Israeli Facebook excitement.

“Hummus Bar” post on Facebook an offering a 50 per cent off the  bill deal for Jewish and Arab customers who sit together to enjoy the Hummus (chickpea-based) meal.Or, in thier own words:

“Scared of Arabs? Scared of Jews?” the restaurant advertised in a Hebrew-language Facebook post. “By us we don’t have Arabs! But we also don’t have Jews… By us we’ve got human beings!

 

Hummus Bar

 

This post published on the October 13th, and the bar has already enjoyed fans and success.

Manager Kobi Tzafrir told the Times of Israel that by the post-lunch rush on Monday, Hummus Bar had already served several tables with both Arabs and Jews.

Tzafrir said: “If there’s anything that can bring together these peoples, it’s hummus.”
