After acing Harvard Business School, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon famously trained under Sandy Weill, the architect of Citigroup C +0.00%, before a falling out between the two caused Dimon to leave for Bank One in the early 2000s. Dimon quickly proved his mettle at the Chicago-based lender and a year after JPMorgan acquired Bank One in 2004 he became CEO of the combined company. It turns out JPMorgan under Dimon’s reign has proven to be quite the springboard for up-and-coming executives across the financial services industry.
