Jackie Collins, Novelist Who Sold 500 Million Books, Dies at 77

Bestselling novelist Jackie Collins died Saturday in Los Angeles after a battle with breast cancer, her publicist said. She was 77.

The British-born author career spanning almost a half century. she wrote 32 novels such as Hollywood Wives and The Stud, of sex and affairs in Hollywood as she was in love at glamor and fame. She sold more than 500 million novels.

Jackie Collins,  had kept her cancer secret from all but her closest family for more than six years.

Her older sister, actor Dame Joan Collins, 82, who had only recently been informed of the diagnosis, according to People magazine, was “completely devastated”.
