Amy Schumer has had a big summer. Now, on the heels of her hit summer movie Trainwreck, it’s rumored that she has a book deal in the works. According to publishing insiders, agent David Kuhn at Kuhn Projects is shopping an essay collection by the comedian that some believe will draw a high-seven-figure advance. Kuhn did not respond to PW’s requests for comment.
According to multiple sources with knowledge of the project, the material has been watermarked, and potential buyers are required to sign nondisclosure agreements before reading it. Insiders speculate that the book could fetch more than $5 million, with some saying it could draw an advance as high as $8 million.
