Israeli defense electronics company Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) announced today that its cyber security subsidiary CYBERBIT Ltd. was awarded two contracts. One of the contracts was awarded by the National Police of a European country, and the second contract was awarded by a law enforcement agency of an African country. Each of the contracts will be performed over a two-year period. The contracts are not of material value for Elbit Systems.
CYBERBIT, established several months ago, is comprised of Elbit Systems cyber activities, and includes the recently acquired Cyber and Intelligence division of NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE), which was awarded the above-mentioned contracts.
