While Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 won’t be available until November later this year, you don’t have to wait that long to get a chance to play it, as the PlayStation 4 Black Ops 3 beta officially starts today.

Courtesy of Activision, we’re giving away Black Ops 3 beta codes and all you have to do is follow what the instructions below say and if you’re picked, we’ll email you a code. Bear in mind though that the contest ends on August 19 at 11:59 p.m. EST and is only open to NA accounts, so best to hop to it as soon as you can.

Once you get the code, here’s how to redeem it:
Your PlayStation 4 Beta token can be redeemed immediately in the PlayStation Store for PS4 using the below steps:
- Select the PlayStation Store icon the PS4’s Home Screen.
- In the PlayStation Store, select “Redeem Codes” at the bottom of the menu.
- Enter the code. Please note that the code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as displayed.
- Once the code has been entered, select “Continue”.
- Select “Download” to start downloading the content.
- Select “Continue” to complete code redemption on the PS4 system.
The Black Ops 3 Beta is about 15GB so downloading the client may take some time depending on your connection speed.
Make sure that your console is up to date with the latest firmware. To do so:
