In the film, Hammer, who grew up in Los Angeles, had to perfect a Russian accent to portray Kuryakin. Fortunately, said the actor, it was easy to research the accent. “As an actor, one of the biggest resources you have is YouYube because it’s on YouTube. You can find anything. So yeah, I just watched a lot of videos, ” he explained.
