According to multiple reports, FBI agents searched Subway former spokesman Jared Fogle’s Indiana home this morning in what is being called a child porn probe. Jared Fogle hasn’t been arrested or charged at this point and authorities say Fogle was cooperative.
Jared Fogle allegedly boasted to a franchisee about “amazing” sex he had with a 16-year-old girl, according to texts subpoenaed by the FBI.

“The latest allegation about Jared Fogle, if true, is appalling. As previously stated, we have suspended our relationship with Jared, ” Subway said in a statement Saturday on its Twitter feed.
In April 2008, Fogel asked a female Subway franchisee, who he was apparently having a sexual relationship with, to advertise herself on Craigslist for sex with other men, Business Insider reported Friday night.
According to CNN, the investigate could have something to do with the arrest of Fogle’s former director of the Jared Foundation who was arrested on federal child pornography charges.
Authorities haven’t said anything linking the search at Fogle’s home to that case.
FBI Special Agent Wendy Osborne, responding to questions, said that the agency is “conducting investigative activity in the area, ” but that the nature of the investigation “can’t be discussed at this time.” U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman Tim Horty said he couldn’t confirm or deny an investigation.
But Subway said that it believed the search was “related to a prior investigation” of someone who used to work for Fogle’s foundation.
“We are shocked about the news and believe it (Tuesday’s search) is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee, ” a Subway spokesman said. “We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely. We don’t have any more details at this point.”
