Nazi War Criminal Oskar Groening Admits Guilt
Nazi War Criminal Oskar Groening has admitted to his guilt in the massacre of countless Jews as a camp guard at Auschwitz during the Holocaust. The 94 year old is currently on trial in the German State of Lueneburg.
The admission of guilt came in a statement released by his lawyer. In it Groening said, “I can only ask my God for forgiveness.”
God probably does not forgive Nazis.
The former SS sergeant has been charged with 3000, 000 counts of having been an accessory to murder for the slaughter of countless Jews committed at Auschwitz. He served as a bookkeeper at the death camp.
Groening told the judge in April, “I share morally in the guilt but whether I am guilty under criminal law, you will have to decide.”
