On John Snow’s shocking death, Benioff said, ” “It’s one of those great conflicts that makes us love the books and this saga. Ultimately, it’s not just about good vs. evil, it’s about people of good intentions who come into conflict with each other because they have very different views of the world.”
On what the faceless men did to Arya, “The Faceless Men don’t kill for revenge. They aren’t killing out of anger. They are killing because death is a gift. The idea is a painless death. It’s almost like you’re letting people go, and that’s not Arya’s way.”
