Blatt’s Cavaliers lose to Warriors in NBA Finals opener

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell behind 3 games to 2 in the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors with a 104-91 loss last night. The team’s Israeli head coach David Blatt commented on his team’s defeat in a post game press conference.

One of the Cavs’ key players, Timofey Mozgov, only played 9 minutes in the whole game.

On that, Blatt said: “It’s no disrespect to anyone, certainly not to Timo, who has done a great job for us. That’s just the way that we played it tonight, and Timo will be back and he will not lose his way or lose his head just because he didn’t play a lot tonight.”
