Roth is the director who brought the world the Hostel movies. He is the kind of film maker who you either love or hate. Audiences are either wowed or disgusted by his movies.
You may also recognize Roth from his appearances in front of the camera too. Most famously, he played Sgt. Donny Donowitz, one of a group of Jewish soldiers who go after Nazis in occupied Europe, in Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 movie “Inglorious Basterds.”
“The Green Inferno” tells the story of a group of student activists who travel to the Amazon to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone, and that no good deed goes unpunished.
Don’t see it if you have a problem with cannibalism.
