Global travel giant TripAdvisor, has bought the online restaurant reservation company dimmi, due to ongoing interest of multinationals in food-focused Australian businesses.
Dimmi has a network of over 2500 restaurants across Australia and will join TripAdvisor’s restaurant division, which operates in Europe under the brand name “TheFork”, with more than 24, 000 restaurant partners across 10 markets. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed.
