Amy Schumer is set to do her first HBO special. It will be directed by none other than Chris Rock.
The controversial comic who loves to shock her audiences on the hit Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer, ” will tape the special on May 29th at Harlem’s iconic Apollo Theater.

The comedian tweeted, “May 29 I film a special for @HBO at the @ApolloTheater directed by @chrisrock my sister will be there like this #TBT, ” along with the above childhood photograph.
“Amy is one of the most inspired comics working today, and we hope her first HBO special marks the start of a long and beautiful relationship, ” said HBO programming president Michael Lombardo, who made the announcement. “This event is even more special because our good friend, the incredibly talented Chris Rock, is directing.”
