Calm down ladies!
No word yet if the tattoo is a temporary one or not.
The movie is based on the book of that name.
Written by William Gay, The Long Home is a novel from 1999 which tells the story of Nathan Winer, a young and headstrong Tennessee carpenter who lost his father years ago to “a human evil that is greater and closer at hand than any the boy can imagine.”
The novel also tells the story of Amber Rose – a different Amber Rose than the singer — a beautiful young woman forced to “live beneath that evil who recognizes even as a child that Nathan is her first and last chance at escape.”
Franco, whose father was Jewish, is already directing and starring in a film adaptation of John Steinbeck’s In Dubious Battle.
As a PhD student in English at Yale it makes perfect sense that Franco is so interested in making movies out of classic novels. He is also a prolific actor who will appear in no fewer than 12 movies in 2015 alone.
