Shia LaBeouf dodged a bullet this week. On Friday a Manhattan judge agreed to grant the actor probation with no jail time when LaBeouf promised to complete treatment for his substance abuse problem and not cause any more trouble like he did last year.
The charges stemmed from an incident last June when the star of the first three Transformers movies was forcibly removed from a Broadway theater in New York in the middle of a performance of the musical Cabaret. Mr. LaBeouf was seen being escorted out of the Studio 54 Theater in handcuffs by the NYPD.

Apparently he had disrupted the performance by shouting, using obscene language and then became belligerent with the theater’s security guards when they asked him to leave. As if all that was not enough, the 28 year old actor also began to smoke; even though, everyone knows that smoking is now illegal in all public places in all of New York State.
When under arrest he reportedly yelled at the police officers saying, “f*** you! Do you know who the f*** I am?”
The actor had previously had an altercation with someone on the street in front of a Manhattan strip club.
LaBeouf appeared in court in a fancy charcoal grey suit, a short beard and a long braided pony tail.
The judge told LaBeouf, “This case is adjourned in contemplation of dismissal. As long as you stay out of trouble for the next six months, then six months from today, your case will be dismissed and sealed.”
The 28 year old actor is currently getting treatment at a rehabilitation facility for the rich and famous in Los Angeles. Now let’s see if he can rehabilitate his film career.
He was dumped from last year’s fourth installment of the Transformer series and his last few movies were box office duds.
