Jerry Springer’s Producer Charged in Murder of Own Sister

Some people are speculating that this may have been an intended double suicide gone wrong or that maybe Jill changed her mind at the last minute.

Jill Blackstone

Jerry Springer Show producer Jill Blackstone was arrested by Los Angeles authorities on suspicion of having murdered her own sister. But she has already been released.

Blackstone called 911 over the weekend and reported that she had discovered her 49 year old deaf sister Wendy’s body in the Studio City home which they shared. Reports indicate that Wendy Blackstone was found in her garage having died from carbon monoxide poisoning from her car in an apparent suicide.

The Daily Mail cited sources who said that a suicide note was found, but that the police were suspicious that the note had been forged.

A neighbor told the publication, “The police were here for 12 to 14 hours on Saturday. We were told they were investigating a double suicide, an attempt, and one of the people died.”

Apparently their pet dog was also found dead.

Some people are speculating that this may have been an intended double suicide gone wrong or that maybe Jill changed her mind at the last minute.

Blackstone, who also worked as a producer on the Dr. Drew and Sharon Osbourne shows was arrested on Saturday and released on $1 million bail. But on Wednesday the charges were dropped and the Los Angeles DA sent the case back to the LAPD for further investigation.

Neither Jerry Springer nor anyone from his show has as of yet commented.
