Why Did Kelly Osbourne Quit Fashion Police?

“Kelly left not from the [comment] itself, but because of how Giuliana and the network handled it.”

Kelly Osbourne

So why exactly did Kelly Osbourne abruptly quit “Fashion Police?” While she has not spoken out as of yet on what happened, the New York Post thinks it has the answer.

The Post cited a source as saying that, “Kelly left not from the [comment] itself, but because of how Giuliana and the network handled it.”

So Osbourne did not leave the show in outrage over her co-host Giuliana Rancic’s comments about the African American singer Zendaya’s hair at the Oscars. Rancic said that she smells like a hippie pot smoker.

Osbourne, a friend of Zendaya’s, felt that the comment was racist. She then went on a Twitter tirade against Rancic and Fashion Police’s failure to condemn her comments before abruptly quitting on Friday.

Meanwhile the show has yet to name replacement for Osbourne and its main host Kathy Griffin, who replaced the late Joan Rivers after she died last year, is reportedly demanding final say in whoever gets the job.

Khloé Kardashian, who along with her sisters is famous for nothing, has formally thrown her hat into the ring. Naya Rivera, Christina Milian and NeNe Leakes are also possible candidates.
