CellMining boasts that its unique SON technology, which it says is agnostic to network vendors and generations, including 2G, 3G and LTE, analyzes network and subscriber usage patterns to maximize network performance, reduce network operational costs and deliver an overall improved experience for subscribers.

The solution will be implemented immediately over the operator’s Huawei and Nokia 2G and 3G networks and will also enable the operator to benefit from advanced subscriber analytics capabilities.

The implementation follows an extensive 4-month evaluation and benchmarking process which focused on mobile network performance and quality of service, and resulted in approximately 15% improved DCR (Dropped Call Rate).

“We are excited to have been awarded this project, ” said Greg (Giora) Snipper, CellMining Co-Founder and CEO. “It is a strong testimony to the growing demand for our Behavior-Based SON™ solution and further reinforces CellMining’s position as a strategic partner for operators striving to improve subscriber experience.”

CellMining will demonstrate all of its new Behavior-Based SON capabilities at Booth 5F81 in Hall 5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, between 2 and 5 March 2015.

Established in 2013, CellMining is a pioneer of the Self-Organizing Network (SON) domain with a unique approach for handling network performance and optimization challenges. Using ground-breaking underlying technology which provides auditing and cleanup of network misconfigurations and subscriber insight analytics, CellMining says that its Behavior-Based SON – SONATA Suite helps wireless network operators to capitalize on improved network performance KPIs, saving on operational and engineering costs, and reducing subscriber churn.

CellMining Ltd. is headquartered in Caesarea, Israel.
