Well, something just popped out of fashion maven Dasha Zhukova’s mouth during an interview with the Wall Street Journal, but she didn’t explain it further. Zhukova, founder of Garage art magazine and a large modern art museum in Moscow said she and Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich met at a party thrown by her father, and married a few years later. They have been married for up to seven years and have two children together.

Last month, the owner of Chelsea’s football team was said to have bought up almost an entire block of apartments in Manhattan and was planning to build a large mansion. Well, now we know that the husband and wife will be sharing it. The marriage to Zhukova is Abramovich’s third and Zhukova’s second. The settlement for Abramovich’s second marriage was for billions of dollars and was one of the largest divorce settlements on record, and it is amazing Abramovich had the nerve to marry again.

Zhukova was born in Russia, but moved to California with her mother when her parents divorced. She attended a Jewish day school and graduated from the University of Santa Barbara. Last year, Zhukova raised a stir when she sat in a chair that exactly resembled sitting on a bound, partially naked black woman. Zhukova apologized for any offense the picture caused and said, “I abhor racism.”
