Alison Rosen Gets New Marketer for her Podcast

Alison Rosen, Adam Carolla’s former podcast sidekick, has a new marketing firm for her own new podcast. The Wrap has reported that Public Media Marketing will now handle the marketing for “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend.”

Rosen’s podcast was previously handled by PodcastOne. She told The Wrap that the change will be a financial boon for her program which the radio personality is now recording in her own dining room.

Rosen, who once handled the news for Carolla, was famously and abruptly fired by e mail last year. Carolla claimed that his sidekick had always said that she would want to be fired by e mail, but Rosen has denied ever saying that.

“Rebuilding everything from the ground up is scary, but it’s also really exciting, ” Rosen told TheWrap. “Public Media Marketing has an incredible roster which includes friends and respected colleagues — and a lady who can’t pronounce ‘Mail Chimp’ — and I’m really excited to be working with them.”

“We are very excited to be working with Alison Rosen and her hilarious podcast ‘Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend, ‘” said Nina Cwik, vice president of Public Media Marketing. “Alison Rosen is an amazing talent and personality. We are thrilled to welcome her to our portfolio.”
