The Audi RS6 was written off in the crash after a woman driving a Mitsubishi collided with it. Both Beckham and his son Brooklyn sustained minor injuries on his way back from Arsenal’s training ground in November, the report said.
Now the vehicle has appeared on eBay, advertised as an “ex celebrity car” and reportedly listed by a scrap dealer, for £42, 995 – almost half what Beckham paid for it, the Record said.
The listing describes the vehicle as a “highly desirable sports car”, with the seller appearing to be based in Halifax, Yorkshire, according to the report.
The listing – placed by a company in Halifax – describes the mangled vehicle as an ‘ex-celebrity highly desirable sports car”, although admits it has “damage to the driver wing door and suspension sill”. It also claims the car has only covered 3, 000 miles, and is “top spec with all the optional extras”, Glamour said.
The 39-year-old Beckham- who also has sons Romeo, 12, and Cruz, nine, and three-year-old daughter Harper with fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham, 40 – was “massively apologetic” following the collision and is said to have given the female driver his jumper as she and her daughter waited for help, the Record said.
A witness said at the time, “Beckham and Brooklyn are lucky to be alive. Beckham took the hit on the driver’s side – it could have been a completely different story”, the report said.
