Todd also talked about the Republican-controlled Congress that President Barack Obama will face for the first time when he gives his State of the Union Address on Tuesday, the report said.
In addition, he challenged Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to defend a statement in which he said President Obama’s foreign policy was “getting people killed”, Mediaite.com said.
“Is that proper rhetoric?” Todd asked. “You think the President of the United States is getting people killed?”
“I think his policies are getting people killed, ” Graham replied. “Almost 300, 000 people have been killed in Syria on his watch…Hell on earth is about to descend in Syria, and it matters to us.”
“The safe heavens in Syria and Jordan by ISIS and other terrorist groups are a direct threat to the United States, ” Graham said. “So yes, his campaign promises should be adjusted based on reality.”
On Friday, while appearing on the Hugh Hewitt Show, Todd said that he thought the Republican National Committee’s 2016 presidential primary debate schedule was “very logical”, Breitbart.com said.
