Adam Carolla + Dennis Miller

Adam Carolla, who has his name in the Guinness Book of World records for most downloaded podcast, is teaming up with Dennis Miller on a new podcast, dealing with popular culture, current events and sundry other issues, according to theWrap. Both have had success with their individual shows, “Miller Time” and “The Andy Carolla Show.”

Adam Carolla told Breitbart, “I’ve always been a fan of Dennis Miller. We seem to come from the same place comedically and politically, and that’s very rare in this town for me. You can look forward to two guys who aren’t scared to share their opinions on any topic.”

Podcast One CEO Norm Pattiz told The Wrap, “I’ve worked with these two guys for years, and it is just great to put the two of them together to do something totally different for the podcast.”

Carolla received criticism after firing Alison Rosen as his “newsgirl” for his podcast in 2014 after four years. Carolla discussed the fallout and criticism from fans over this move. He told Doug Elfman of ReviewJournal.com, “It would be nice to coast through life and not have to deal with any controversy or naysayers, but that is just part of the new world we are living in.”

Fans were ticked off that he fired Rosen via email. Carolla explained that Rosen once said that is the manner in which she would prefer being fired, and now that she has her own show, “Alison Rosen is your new best friend, ” Carolla said, “I figured it would work out for her.”
