Daniel Och’s Oz Management increased its holdings in Chinese travel company Qunar Cayman Islands Limited fourfold, according to Insider Monkey. Oz now has more than 6 million class B shares and owns 5.39% of the company. Oz has $34 billion in assets under management has has holdings that are diverse, spanning many different industries and various continents.
Qunar Cayman Islands coordinates travel in China and has been growing rapidly, especially through its strong mobile strategy. The stock has risen significantly from its IPO price of $15 to $27. While there was a shortfall delivered through earnings, the growth of the middle class in China means that the travel company has significant opportunity to expand.
