What is new this year is that he has a son to join him and Eric, as Powell told the Daily Mail, is already interested in a musical career. A source told the paper, “Simon was saying how much Eric loves playing on his little drum set and how he is already into music.”
Cowell has already introduced Eric to music, and now the boy might get his first taste of fame, as his father might have him “star” in a One Direction video. While insiders say it is hard to know sometimes whether Cowell is joking or serious, it is likely he will get his way, given his influence in showbiz. Cowell apparently said he thinks it will be “hilarious” if his son Eric appears in a One Direction video.
